Since discovering that you can buy Everthing Bagel seasoning, I have literally been obsessed. We've put it on just about everthing, one of our favorites is popcorn!
Scrolling through Pinterest for new recipe inspiration, I landed on this recipe, and it didnt disappoint. We even used the left over sauce as a dip for pretzles, or you could even use bagel chips!
The potatoes I made are super simple too and we make them quite a bit so I thought I'd share that with you too! So as always if you make this, let me know what you think! I know we will be making it again!
Everthing Chicken with a Scallion Cream Sauce:
Ingredients For the Chicken:
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 4 medium sized chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup Everthing Bagel seasoning
- salt
Ingredients For the Sauce:
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp Everything Bagel Seasoning
- 4 oz cream cheese- softened
- 6 tbsp chopped green onion
- 1/4 cup half and half or milk
Directions:
- Pre Heat the oven to 400 degrees
- Put the chicken, breats side down in the pan and brush with melted butter, then coat the chicken with half of the Everything Bagel seasoning. Flip the chicken breasts over and repeat using the second half of the seasoning.
- Once coated on both sides, bake at 400 degrees for 35-40 minutes
- While the chicken is baking, melt 1 tbsp of butter in a bowl, and add the rest of the sauce ingredients.
- Mix until smooth. I used my hand mixer.
- When the chicken is done cooking, let it stand for 5 minutes, then serve with the sauce over the top.
Parmesan Crusted baked potatoes:
Ingredients:
- 8-10 red potatoes
- 1/2 stick of butter
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp chili powder
Directions:
- Boil your red potatoes whole, until they are just about for tender, drain and let cool.
- Once they are cool enough to handle, cut them in half
- Pre heat your oven to 400 degrees
- While the oven is pre heating, in a glass baking dish, place the half a stick of butter inside and place it in the oven to melt it. Otherwise you can melt the butter in a bowl and pour it in the pan as well.
- Once the butter is melted, add in the parmesan cheese and chili powder and mix it up. It should form a paste on the bottom of the pan, if you need to add more cheese to make it thicker you can.
- Spred the mixture into an even layer on the bottom of the pan, and then place the potatoes flat side down in the mixture.
- Bake for 30-35 mintues, take out and let cool, then serve.
Here is the final product:
